Information you provide
The enquiry form collects your primary contact name and email address. You may also provide a phone number, the couple’s names and country of residence, communication preference, wedding dates and flexibility, destination preferences, guest count, event format, budget, NDA preference and a message. Only the primary contact name and email are required to send an enquiry. Please share other people’s information only when you are authorised to do so, and avoid including sensitive personal information in the message.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your requirements and take steps at your request before entering a wedding-planning agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where a representative contacts us on someone else’s behalf, our legitimate interest is to respond to and coordinate that business enquiry (Article 6(1)(f)). Optional communication preferences are used to contact you through your chosen channel where available.
We process complaints and retain required records to meet our obligations under Croatian consumer-protection law (Article 6(1)(c)). Technical request data, such as IP addresses, browser information and server logs, may be processed to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it from abuse, in our legitimate interest in running a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)). Enquiries are not used to subscribe you to marketing messages. To protect the enquiry form and email account from abuse, we keep short-lived sending counters and a keyed, pseudonymous fingerprint of the submitted email address in Google Cloud Firestore. The counters do not contain the original email address, message content or IP address. The limits apply per email and across the website.
Services involved
The website uses Google Firebase App Hosting, and enquiries are delivered to our business email using Google Workspace. Google processes the technical and email data needed to provide those services. Public journal, destination and experience content and images may be served through Sanity, whose servers receive the technical information needed to respond to those requests.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google the technical information needed to retrieve them, including your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy information. Instagram and Pinterest are external links rather than embedded feeds; visiting them is subject to their own privacy practices. If you choose WhatsApp or Signal for subsequent conversations, that service’s privacy terms also apply.
International processing
Service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their processing terms describe the applicable transfer arrangements, including adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable. How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up. If you become a client, information needed to provide the service is retained for the agreement’s duration and any applicable statutory record-keeping or legal-claims period. Written consumer-complaint records are retained for at least one year from receipt. Rate-limit counters expire at the end of their hourly or daily window and become eligible for automatic deletion; Google’s cleanup process may take up to around 24 hours after expiry. Technical logs are kept only as needed for website operation and security, subject to the hosting provider’s retention settings.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a particular processing activity relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. There is no automated decision-making or profiling through this enquiry form.
You can contact us at welcome@luxuryweddingscroatia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency, AZOP, or the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Cookies and website storage
This website uses lwc_cookie_notice, a first-party necessary cookie, to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. It contains only the notice version (v1), applies across this website and expires after 180 days. It is not used to identify you or track your activity. Dismissal acknowledges this information; it does not give consent to analytics, advertising or other optional services.
There are currently no analytics or advertising cookies or optional cookie categories to enable. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the notice, or delete the cookie through your browser settings to see it again on your next visit. If your browser blocks cookie storage, you can still dismiss the notice, but it may reappear when the website reloads.
Google Fonts does not set or log cookies through its font API, but it receives technical request information as described above. External services you choose to visit, such as Instagram and Pinterest, have their own cookie policies. If we introduce optional cookies or tracking services, they will require a separate choice before activation and this notice will be updated.
